The current JAMMA controls use a USBlinx board which I believe is proprietary. I'm not sure if I can use this w/the new PC because it might need drivers etc. Will I need to order an IPAC? I purchased a VGA to CGA arcade monitor hardware adapter.

I know there is software solutions to kick out 15khz video but the bios will still boot up in the wrong frequency which is bad for the monitor, so I read. Which front end would you guys recommend? I just need something relatively simple to setup and isn't too resource intensive so Hyperspin is out. I would like the system to boot straight to the front end. I can create a short cut for this in XP but I'd rather not see the XP logo on the bootup. I'd like a front end that is configurable to do this.

Or, I guess I can just change the XP default boot up image. Do I need to create them or is a Pack I can download for which ever front end I get? I signed up at pleasuredome and I plan on firing up the torrent soon so that is taken care of. I'm thinking about upgrading the joysticks. I saw some at ultimarc which looked good.
