We visited the Hare & Hounds with friends primarily with the intention of visiting the Prince of Wales gardens at Highgrove nearby. The postal address of the hotel is Tetbury but is actually in Westonbirt close to the National Arboretum. The hotel is built in Cotswold stone and set in several acres of well maintained grounds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful from the time of our arrival to the time we left. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and was provided with Molton Brown products in the en-suite bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was out of this world with the quality of the food and its presentation to Michelin star standard.

Breakfast the next morning was equally enjoyable being cooked to order. All in all a most enjoyable stay and the hotel is worthy of its four star status. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hare and Hounds as a venue for a short break.

We stayed in the gamekeepers cottage - (October) which I would thoroughly recommend. The cottage is spacious and has a fab hot tub in the garden. We had a wine flight and tasting menu in the restaurant, which was delicious. We enjoyed the food from Jack Hare's delivered to our room the following night, which was also excellent. The staff were brilliant and prompt and we are actually going to book another stay in the holidays as we liked it so much. We also went for a lovely walk in the Arboretum - which was stunning with all the Autumn leaves. I chose the Hare and Hounds for my wife's birthday because it was dog friendly and avoided the frilly doily chic that seems to blight a lot of dog friendly places.

Although the hotel isn't in Tetbury (it's in Westonbirt) the location is great and first impressions excellent - a very Cotswolds building with lots of character. The staff are unfailingly superb, extremely friendly and helpful. Vsp Classic Keygen Mac. This applies to all areas of the hotel. Our room was at the front of the hotel, which could have been a little noisy due to the busy road but was fine and very comfortable.
